Hey, buskers, check this out:
http://www.boston.com/news/local/massachusetts/2015/05/11/faneuil-hall-street-performers-fight-new-fees/Vgm5Varq2jFF8ACVI7buxH/story.html?p1=feature_stack_3_hp&s_campaign=bcom%3Asocialflow%3Atwitter

In Boston's most lucrative street performance space, Faneuil Hall, you would have to pay a fee to play there soon. BTW, this area has been "managed" with scheduled performers for some time.

Faneuil Hall has been turned into one of the most tacky, in-authentic, tourist traps on the Eastern seaboard, right down to the dominance of the piece of shit chain stores (think The Gap etc.) lining all the walkways. Wasn't always that way.

This is coming from a former Masshole, who still has friends and family in the area.

So the above news doesn't suprise me, not in the least. Better busking area would be the subway platforms....well at least it was decades ago.

true 'bout Faneuil Hall and the subway platforms.

BTW, this was just rescinded, so no new fees there after all.
