Interesting

Maybe the most over rated band in the world sounds terrible without all of their loops amd electronic enhancement and need an intro to keep a crowd.

Here is some good stuff

Maybe that should have been in the "Can White People Play the Blues?" as a shinning example of yes, white can play the blues but maybe some of them shouldn't...

You guys can rag all you want but remember the good U2 has done and cut a bit of slack. Add to the fact that Bono is likely never going to get to play guitar again and he's still out there doing what he does best.

I would never call U2 a blues band although they have done some very bluesy stuff, witness BB King doing a tour with them. BUT they do excellent rock imo, and it's generally for a reason. More so than a lot of bands.

Not knocking, just an observation. But in the OP video, Bono reminds me of Robin Williams character The Wizard in the movie August Rush. More an animation than a real person. Interesting.

Keni Lee Burgess on the other hand, I like what he does. Every time I'm in NYC I keep an ear open for him. He's good at what he does.

@Goldbrick

Thanks for posting the Keni Lee vid. I don't think there's anybody better at doing delta blues on the CBG. Great stuff there.
