Has anyone tried the new Memphis Mini harmonica delay pedal and specifically compared it against the Lone Wolf harp delay? A friend lent me the Lone Wolf delay and I really like the way it sounds with all my amps, especially the way it seems to add bass and presence besides offering a varied array of effects. But before I contact Randy and drop down the doe, was wondering how the new Memphis Mini pedal holds up to it at a c-note less. Thx in advance from a forum newbie.

Dunno about the comparison, but no doubt you've seen OwenEvans' positive report on the MM pedal.
You won't go wrong with the LW product for sure, but the price difference is fair reason to pause. I have the LW already but if I was in the market I dunno what I'd do. I can say that my LW Delay has travelled with me and had a lot of use over 5 years and given zero problems. It is battery hungry, but that's how it is with delay pedals afaik.

Yea... honestly I think i'm in the same boat as SuperBee. I have the LWHDv2.... love it... wouldn't trade it for any other delay for harp.

Just my 2cents though.

To answer your specific question, i have not tried the MM pedal either. I have saw some reviews though. Its always the "get what you pay for" motto, that i personally try and follow. Countless members on here have told me that. Spend the money, buy it once... and never look back.

from Rick Davis FB:

"Memphis Mini delay effect pedal is quite perfect! Not obliged to pump the volume up. The MM gently boost your sound with a nice crunchy echo until you turn from 6h to 9h. After 9 h to 12h you win a killer tone.
Compared to Memphis Mini the Lone Wolf delay v1 seems "boxy". You need to push to 3h the LW if you want something almost equal to the MM delay but without that killer tone.
The MMdelay is definitly the good and right effect pedal for this killer amp.
Seems to have a 8 to 10 watts amp.....
Nothing compares to this beast..... great thanks Rick Davis.
Next step will be sounding try with vid."

I spoke w/R. Davis the other day and decided to take the gamble and ordered the MM pedal. I've got a loaner LW delay at my disposal so I'm really curious to A/B these suckers with some of my vintage tube amps. I already know what the LW pedal is capable of, but I'm hoping to be pleasantly surprised. If not, I'll just off the thing on ebay. Will post some reports in a week or so. Thanks to all that replied.
