Maybe I've just got a cynical nature but that looked like a cheesey cigarette commercial. I sure hope the harmonica players got paid in $$$.

The public's taste for what should receive TV airtime may have changed, but the harmonica is still cool!

Even with my lack of ability, I can play a simple melody - any place, any time - and receive smiles, encouragement and maybe even a round of applause.

That's pretty cool in my book.

I've been playing my "always keep one on you" harp (a Suzuki Olive in C) while keeping an eye on my kid while he's learning to ride a bike at the bike track in the local park.

Lots of kids stop, look, and smile while I'm noodling on it.

A diatonic is still the coolest pocket "real" instrument around.
