I have no experience with the Harp Fanatic amp, but I bought a mic from Dave Kott a couple of years ago. It's a great mic, and his price was really affordable (probably half of what I would have paid for a similar mic from most customizers). Also, Dave was easy to deal with.
I know emailing him would answer this question but I wonder what the charge is for this amp. It has a seductive component bio!! ---------- Facebook

Thanks for that everyone. I do know the amp retails at around $2,500. Yeah, great components and quality I bet. But more I was just wondering if anyone on here had one, I have seen that youtube links before. I like the look of 410 tweeds never get boring to look at for me I'm pretty much in the camp of early 90's 59 bassman tweeds with a point to point board kit dropped in and I think the Fender pro Junior is great but with a 12'' speaker. or a good original 59 Bassman ££££ . Theres a cat in the UK with a nice one called Ian Briggs but he has nothing on Youtube except one clip but you don't really get to hear it.
@Marine1896 "I'm pretty much in the camp of early 90's 59 bassman tweeds with a point to point board kit dropped in..." this would be cheaper than a scratch build, but you wouldn't then get exactly the same amp as a scratch build, like a Harp Fanatic (Ian's amp isn't, he is a fine player though).
I can count the players that I'm aware of using rewired RIs in the UK on my fingers, not sure I even need 2 hands? It's a pricey conversion & there are several 5F6A circuits in circulation.
Dave Kott is a meticulous builder, the only way to get a Harp Fanatic is through him.
@5F6H; I was told years back Ian had a real 59 but know idea if that's it in the vid. Well, that's what I was kind of getting at... that a RI with P2P kit would be a slightly cheaper/better option. I'm just easily seduced by these 410 tweeds haha. But yeah I dig what you say, I've played through sonny JRs, Harpking, Bassman RI and few others but I knew a guitar cat once years ago who had a real 59 Bassman and man it was a beast although the tweed (what was left of it) looked like it had fought in the UFC for many years!!!
