This is, without question, the BEST diatonic harmonica forum that exists today. It is a large community of players, at a range of levels (beginner to seasoned pro), who share often and regularly on a wide range of topics. The frequency of posts is impressive. And the amount of commercial "selling" is minimal. I love this forum. I have learned a lot here, and hopefully I have helped others by sharing my own thoughts and experiences.
However, my digital life has shifted rapidly to mobile devices over the past couple years,- namely the iphone and ipad. I use a traditional "computer" with a strong network connection maybe once a week. For whatever reasons, this website does not load well on mobile devices. Over a 3G network, it simply never loads. So I have given up trying to access the site on my evening bus ride home from work. I can access many other websites over 3G, but not this one - it just spins and times out.
Over a public wifi connection, I probably have a 50-70% success rate. This depends on the performance of the wifi network. And it also seems to depend on the time of day: when most of the USA is asleep, it seems to work better.
I am not an IT expert. But I am wondering if this site has been fully optimized for mobile devices. I would love to spend more time here.

I use an iPhone with 3 g access only and this puppy loads up fast. I never have a problem with video or script. I don't think the problem is with the site.

The only issue I've had is that it logs you out on your PC when you log in on a tablet (and vice versa). Is it specific locations you can't log in from or is it everywhere?
Is anyone else having issues?

I live in PA, and I don't have any problems with the site loading on my Razr. But recently the vids that get posted only appear as a black square. Unwatchable. Even after powering down my phone to reboot it doesn't help. I think the issue may be with my phone though.

I'd wager the site isn't optimised, period. Let alone with any special coding for mobile device access.
That said, I do usually access the site via my mobile phone and don't experience any extra issues that I don't get when on my PC.
The main forum page only has a few images (which would normally be cached by the browser) so I wouldn't expect any significant slowdown over 3G.
I'd recommend going through browser settings to optimise speed.

This site isn't mobile optimized aka responsive design but I don't have any problem using it from my S3 or 7" tablet.
However, Google is about to change their search ranking for sites that are not mobile optimized.
This is pretty standard for websites now, so you might want to look into it.

I have an iPhone 6 and saved the web page to the home screen, leaving an icon identical to the app ones.
Apart from having to zoom a lot, I haven't found any issues. It loads super quick.

Yes! I use android phone and I too have been having trouble with this site lately. I never have any problems like this with any other site, and I don't remember have any problems here until a few months ago. It just doesn't load. I tried right now, no problems over wifi but if I turn wifi off it doesn't work, doesn't finish loading.
I also tried using my phone as a hotspot for my laptop, so I surf on my laptop connected wirelessly to my phone and connect phone to internet, and then this site doesn't work on my laptop either, but every other site loads instantly.

Just an update. I've been talking with support and they are working on making the site mobile friendly. They are in the testing phase on some updates at this point.

I don't know what tech support did. But the embedded vids actually are viewable on my android now. No more plain black squares.

So my earlier post got eaten by Spamzilla again... There were no URL links and it was not suspiciously short. I didn't even feel the need to pad the post out with my 'A440 went to Europe, but then he's often incontinent' gag...
Maybe the spam filter should be next on the to do list?
In my opinion, the filter should just be disabled. I don't think it's even possible for spambots to get past the captcha codes. Heck, we can't even get them right half the time...
