I just put together an Egnater Rebel 20 head along with a 2x10 cabinet. My friend called and is ready to part with his 67' Blackface head, not modded. I can't find anything on harp with one of these and want to ask you if it is a good idea to ditch the Egnater and buy the bassman head. Great original condition and the price will be a fair one.

if the price is right, go for it!

Is going to sound good, not like a 4x10 alnico speaker RI, but good.

Yep, 68=SF

I doubt you could go wrong with it. If it has its origional Ecaps, it WILL need a tuneup. Nothing wrong with SS rectifier. Less sag, more punch and cut, better bass. One less tube to look out after (:>). That amp is very easy to maintain and mods, if you so desire, to the circuit are easily reversed. No harm, no foul. Stick that into a good 2x10/4x10 cab and tear it up. That amp needs space to breath. Big room or outdoors. OK, quit reading BS on the web and go try it.

If it was a good price, I would buy it and play it through a variety of cabs.
