A few months ago I got one of those Facebook messages that I had been mentioned in a post. It was from a harp player named Gregory Hommert. I recognized the name because he had bought some combs from me a while back. More often than not I have no idea who my customers are and whether they are beginners or pros. You just never know.

Gregory Hommert is a pro.

Here’s a teaser for their CD that was released in October 2014.



You can listen to the entire CD via streaming on their website. If you want to get a quick taste of Greg’s playing listen to the first song – The Look of The Shine. At about the 2:35 mark he lets it fly.

I’m not sure why they will allow you to listen to the entire CD without having to buy it. There have been a number of threads in the past year about live streaming and how it impacts the income musicians earn for their efforts. I think this is one CD worth spending $10.00 on.
