Hope this works. I'm posting directly from Facebook with their embed tool. These videos are not on youtube

My son lives in Asheville N.C. His band is The Dirty Badgers. They call their genre "Mountain Blues n Funk meet Big City Punk". They put on a great show to a full house at a local brewery. He writes all their music, plays guitar, and sings. Only lesson he ever had was a guitar chording chart he put up in his room.

Of course he wanted to get ole pops up for a couple. Keep in mind he knows these songs but the band didn't so it ain't perfect. Still, we had so much fun and as you can see the music got emotional. We aint the best but we sure know how to have a good time!

Last night I heard a new band The Dirty Badgers. Derek Frye the son of Tammy and Duane Catfish Frye. The father and son performed together and they gave it their all. I personally love Blues music this was the most soulful sound I have heard. As I videoed the two songs I had goose bumps. I don't if it was because they are blood kin or both super talented. I think it was both. I will post both songs but you will not experience the true talent in the video as I did live. What a inspirations for me to want to play better. Thank for the great performance.

This is the second song of The Dirty Badgers Band Derek Frye and his father Duane Catfish Frye. Playing the blues st Sleepy Owl. I mean like it should be played from the soul.

Nice!

(And how did you get videos to post directly from FB? We've had problems with that!)
