Some info and name dropping:
Hakan "Hawk" Ehn plays Hohner Marine Band DeLuxe harmonica in Bb through Ultimate microphone (made by Greg Heumann) connected to vocals processor Digitech Vocal 300 connected to digital recording equipment BOSS BR CD-1200 with pitch shifter one octave down and delay.
0:00-0:43: Intro "Serious As A Heart Attack" (Luther Allison). 1:13-1:33: Inspired by "Harmonica Caprice no. 1 in C Minor" (Jason Ricci). 1:44-1:46: Lick from "He's Got All The Money" (Paul Butterfield - Live At The Winterland Ballroom). 2:31-3:10: "Sugar" (S. Turrentine). My interpretation of the intro from Adam Gussow's harmonica version from his great album "Kick and Stomp". 3:55-4:04: Lick inspired by Johnny Mars.

I'm sorry to hear that. I am really excited by this tune since this kind of rockin' harp is really close to my heart. And I think I found a good structure of the song and a nice execution.

I'm into the more traditional stuff, so its not something I would normally listen to, but it's extremely creative and Cool! Unlike the majority of harp players, you talk the talk and walk the walk. I enjoyed it!

This makes me think of the Ritchie Blackmore guitar solo on Deep Purple's "Highway Star". If so, good show; half my influences are harmonica players, and the other half guitarists, sax and trumpet players. Very fine playing, Hakan. ---------- Ted Burke __________________ ted-burke.com tburke4@san.rr.com

You have skills and a good feeling my friend. And you're not afraid to try new things. Ain't this what the name of this forum is all about?
