I received a Joyo Clean Glass as a birthday gift. It is a VERY small pedal that emulates Fender amps. It is the smallest pedal I have owned - smaller than an Xotic EP Booster.

The pedal has four controls hidden under a flipping lid.

It sounds fantastic and worked wonderfully with my SM58. I highly recommend the pedal for anyone looking for something like a HarpBreak or Tech 21 Blonde. They run like $80 new.

Thanks for the recommendation.

I'm in the market for something like that...something I can plug directly into a PA. So far I've been leaning toward the Harp Attack, but I'd love to hear an audio sample of the Clean Glass for comparison.

Also, how well does it work with a Hi-Z mic?

Thanks in advance.

@SteveTech - I will sell you my HARP BREAK for a decent price... It does sound good through the PA - I just blow through my amp with a vocal mic these days and have no need for it...

Here is a demo video of the HARP BREAK thru PA

I have one bullet mic and it uses an XLR and transformer just like my 58. I'd suggest a HarpBreak or Attack would work better with a traditional bullet mic.

The Joyo works great for more of the contemporary diatnoic harp sounds. I set mine like a pushed Blackface, so it has a scooped sound with some crunch and not a lot of compression.

I will try to do a vid or recording, but with the holidays upon us, my time is limited.

Two cons of the Joyo...

1. No battery - adapter only
2. It is so small that if it isn't on a pedal board of sorts, it would be tricky to stomp on and off.

Joyo also has the JF-14 "American Sound" pedal which is even cheaper than the "Clean Glass" and can run on a battery. It's supposedly a clone of the Tech 21 "Blonde" pedal. More EQ control, too.

I have had very good luck with Joyo. Good sound at a good price. I love my AC Tone pedal ( vox amp simulator)

Goldbrick, do you use it for harp?

I like Joyo, I owned a Joyo Analog delay and it was very good, no FB problems for me.
