Found this fascinating. All we need now is for some bright spark to create a synthesiser computer program where we can play with the circle and create new rhythms.

I thought this was cool as well. Though, I think I was most interested in the brief description and examples of different rhythms the world over than the visualization technique. Still, it was fun.

Thanks Tookatooka! I wonder how our often-debated concepts of "playing behind the beat" and "swinging" the rhythm would look in this visualization.
