A couple of months back John Salmon -- who may be writing under an alias that I´m unfamiliar with (can´t find the OP) and if I blew his cover now I apologize -- posted a sort of technoblues one-chord thing one Soundcloud and invited people to take a stab at it.

As far as I recall I didn´t see any takers, but I downloaded it, forgot about it and right now discovered the track on my HD.
So here is my first (and last) attempt: Mistakes, hesitations (some deliberate) and what not, but anyway ...

Fifth and third positions, and thus I (partly) follow up what my fellow countryman Pistolcat asked for a few days ago.

The Soundcloud link should be highlighted by now, but of course it isn´t -- this far I´ve never encountered one of these things that worked smoothly.
But no loss.
And you blues guys -- only try this type of sound at home.

Nice stuff Martin! Good thematic material there. And some high-end speed riffs!

Very Cool, Martin! You have an acute ear for "What fits?". Great themes and great chops, too! Everything sounded spot on except, maybe, the parts where you open up slightly into doublestops. I think the amp sim got a bit overloaded then in a non-good way. Otherwise it was fantastic, so i'm just nit-picking! Could be played in underground dancehalls! Really!

Is that the RP-unit? Sounded good, beside the instances I mentioned above.

John Salmon is, of course, our dear Tookatooka.

Keep harpin, Martin. Love your stuff, like "Vad fan håller han på med därinne". Shout out if you have any gigs in gothenburg or plan on going to Jams here.

Thanks guys.

Yes it´s the RP. A home-cooked patch. And as I said, a first and only take.
The double stops that sound somewhat hesitant are intended to be just that; but if it works is of course another question.
I´ll polish it up one of these days and see if it improves. I rather like John´s backing track.

Wow! Thanks for posting that Martin you did a good job with it. I find those one chord tracks nigh on impossible to play along with.

If anyone else wants to give it a go, go to this link and download it and use it as you wish. Maybe I should try doing another one?

Thank YOU, Tooka. The one-chords things can be a bit awkward, but I really liked that one.

Yes, please make another one -- one chord or many! I wish I had the wherewithal to cook something up myself but I´m just too stupid.
