Having only played with 10, I recently bought what looked like a vintage MB 14 holer. Any tips or thoughts? Also what is best way to "decontaminate a second hand harp"

I assume that it is a Marine Band 365 model which is larger in size than an standard 10-hole Marine Band.

I would remove the brads/nails, and give the whole thing a good scrubbing... don't let the wood comb get too wet, maybe just a quick wash and wipe with alcohol.

After the comb is completely dry, I would seal it with a food-safe sealer, like what is used for salad bowls... there are videos on YouTube showing how to seal wood combs... like this one from Dave Payne.

Be careful scrubbing the reed plates. Some people use toothbrushes, but I find they can snag the reeds. I'd focus on sterilizing first, then just carefully cleaning it. (Old toothbrushes are fine on covers).
