Hey everyone...We're headed to Austin this next week, Oct. 16-20, and was wondering what suggestions you might have on where we might find some great blues bars and bands? Any suggestions would be appreciated!!!

As a personal recommendation, I would be sure to see Paul Oscher at C-Boys Thursday, assuming he is back (from Europe I think) as advertised. He plays killer harp, killer slide guitar, killer blues piano, and sings, sometimes all at once. He is amazing.
Greg Izor is an amazing harp player as well.

Hey Mighty...thanks for the links. Yep, I've done the traditional searches...was hoping that someone knew of a good band/bar that is not listed on Austin Blues Society website's calendar. Great call on Paul Oscher and Greg Izor though! I hadn't thought of either of those guys and I'd love to see them.
