@clyde

This is the most racist topic I have ever seen. My best friends uncle'a second wife minus the stepsister but dividing the great grandmothers fifth linguistically challenged brother-in-law is 1/1,200 Scottish.
I HAVE NEVER BEEN SO INSULTED.

Moderators, please lock this thread.

I can't bear it, the pain is too intense!

I do, however, love a double malt scotch wiskey

Little Al Price is one of my favorite harmonica players.
I met him years back on Buddha's Garden

There are a number of Scottish harmonica players who are very good. Cameron Gray, Al Price and Rev Doc immediately spring to mind and there are many others, whose names escape me at the moment.

By the way a little word of advice. I wouldn't refer to a Scot as "Scotch" if I were you. Especially in Glasgow, or you might find your face being slightly rearranged.

I'm a scotch player sometimes, my favourite is Aberlour a'bunadh, bloody beautiful. I like the peatier ones too, Lagavulin and even Laphroaig.
It's probably more accurate to say I'm a single malt player....sometimes.

Kingley,
I'm not. I was simply referencing a comment in a closed thread made by att1chgo.

I come from a long line of Clyde's from the valley of the same name. In fact my Surname is the same as the village my people come from

So I can't refer to someone from Kentucky as "Bourbon"?

Hey Al, is Fraser still playing with Paolo Nutini?

"Glasgow Kiss"

More like a Glasgow grin....owwwww.....

And as for me, I prefer blended scotch...Cutty Sark or Grant's. I used to love Jon, Mark, & Robbo's Smoky Peaty One, but I can't find it available locally anymore.

Hey Hawkeye. Not as far as I know. He toured with him extensively on his ''Sunny side up'' album, but not on the new one. He's a really nice guy and fine moothie player.

One very good Scots player not likely to be noticed in the blues world is singer/songwriter and interpreter of Scottish traditional music Jim Malcolm. He accompanies himself on guitar and plays rack harmonica that sounds a lot simpler than it is - he has loads of technique but doesn't put it front and center.
