Okay, I'll take another shot at explaining it. I like things fast and loud (I like lots of other styles too, but something about fast and loud gets my blood pumping).
I'd wish I could hear it in a full band setting with instruments trading solos, but if you are working with a backing track you aren't going to have other solos to trade with.
