Artistry that Defies Comprehension can be a catalyst to engage the hearts of other Artists causing them to find the courage to explore their own idiosyncrasies and bring their music, harmonica playing etc. to places they once feared to go.

Please share artists who defy comprehension yet will help us as musicians further our capabilities to stretch out and be modern, unique, different and worthy of discussion.

Goldbrick, every time I hear Dark Was the Night, Cold Was the Ground I get chills. Years ago we send a recording of it out into space to show the human emotion loneliness. Can't think of a better choice.

Not sure what to make of 'beyond comprehension, but here are some that have hit me over the head in some way or another along the way.

(Warning, if you watch this one you'll never be able to see Kermit the Frog in the same light)

You might not appreciate these unless you were ever into grunge...

(And this one could have all sorts of discussions about cultural appropriation)

(What can I say, I love my Nirvana)

And a couple that got me to listen to music I wouldn't have otherwise-

(I'm always a fan of stripping songs down to acoustic)

Yes, oddly enough, I came by Nirvana through Tori Amos. Bizarre.

diggsblues.......

Michelle Pfeiffer's parents, lived a few doors down from me
she grew up in that house, long before i was around.
she would send a limo to pick up her mom, on-occasion.

she worked at the grocery store, bagging groceries, before she hit the big time.

guess I am getting old ' cause I would rather have that Strat than Michelle .

Now Bettie Page or the Strat would be a tuff choice

Well, watching that last clip was certainly more entertaining than reading about reed gapping or tubes
