I see Fender has launched two models of harp. The pricier one has phospher bronze reeds, so presumeably made by Suzuki. Has anyone tried one?

I don't think they're Suzuki. To me they look like rebadged Bluesbands and Big Rivers.

There's a factory in China that makes harps with welded phosphor bronze reeds. I've held these harps in my hand and they are no where close to the quality of Suzuki's real harps (HarpMaster or better) or Hohner Big Rivers.

The Fender harps look an awful lot like those cheap harps. If they are indeed the same harps, it's not anything to get excited about. I doubt they will be making a splash at SPAH....
