This is the other Johnnie Taylor--the one that made the women swoon. One of the greatest blues singers of all time, judging from the acclaim with which he is still held in contemporary black communities. This video offers a whole show, but you can get most of what he's about from one nine-minute song. Start the video right at the 40-minute point. This performance is the definition of "take your time."
