I'm looking to add a Low F to my little collection of harmonicas. I'd like to try a Seydel because I've never played one. I was thinking of just picking up a Session Standard but curious if any Seydel fans out there think it'd be worth the extra money to check out a Solist Pro. Anything more expensive then that is to rich for my blood!
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated! T.Bird

Is the solist pro more exxy than the session? I have a standard session low F and I'm using it a lot. I'd dare say my low F T-bird is a 'better' harp, but I'm not disappointed with the seydel. I retuned it to 'country' so I could better play jazz standards in 2nd position... I have had solist pro harps, I dislike the covers but if you're clean shaven that won't be a problem. The session has a dark smooth tone, due to the full length covers I expect.. I think it's a value for $ product.

I've got a blues session in low D. One of my favourite harps; a pleasure to play. ---------- Lucky Lester

I have several solist pro harps including a low F. I really like the solist pro. ---------- Wisdom does not always come with old age. Sometimes old age arrives alone.

I would suggest a little extra investment and have it half-valved. The PT style wind savers seem to really give the lower key harps a little more response and clarity in those harder draw bends. ---------- Greg Jones 16:23 Custom Harmonicas greg@1623customharmonicas.com 1623customharmonicas.com
