Phosphor bronze reeds. If the quality is the same as their guitars these will be good to own. Anyone ventured in yet? Don't see them in Canada yet.

I see that the music store in my neighborhood has them. If they're not too costly I'll probably try one.

Hmm, replaceable reeds... does that mean screws or just that you can pop the rivets. Looks like they've got them at a couple price points. I'll be interested to see the reviews.

They're going for $10 on the Fender website. I'm not terribly optimistic about the quality. But who knows?

It says "Made in China" on the side of the comb. These look a lot like the harmonicas you get for $3 on Ebay.

They say:
"The Blues DeVille 10-hole diatonic harmonica delivers even brighter, bolder tone and uncompromised pro quality, with comfort and features that make it a reliable and long-lasting choice for serious performers.

-Handsome black/gold etched casing
-Replaceable, extra-durable phosphor bronze reed plates
-Moisture-resistant ABS plastic combs for great tuning stability
-Protective vented plastic case for quick drying after play
-Includes blister card package"

Ha! The big red flag for me is that their first bullet point is about the quality of the CASE! Kinda says it all...

I won't be buying one.

Note that Fender is classifying them as an accessory and not as a musical instrument.

I don't see the 10 buck offer on their site?

Each harmonica is diligently crafted from pro-grade materials, resulting in a great-looking instrument with (unbelievable lasting power).

The Blues Deluxe diatonic 10-hole harmonica offers unbelievable convenience and style at the same affordable price point (as a disposable harp).

The Retail is 30 smackers - would hope it doesn't play like a 3 dollar harp when asking that much for it, but it is all speculation till someone blows one? :)

Maybe they will offer $15 replacement phosphor bronze reed plates that will fit all those MS Blues Harps I have floating around? Maybe Fender will get into the harp amp market with a Harp Champ?

My wifey has a Vibro Champ. I did not see much potential there last time I plugged a mic (SM58) into it, but that was ~20 years ago. Maybe I need to try it again. I have a few other mics to choose from.

FWIW, zZounds and AMS have them. The Deluxes run for $10 and the DeVilles for $30. I might grab one of each for my oddball harp collection.

Yes, still have the Martin which is a MS series with a wood comb made in Germany. Has the black covers and gold lettering.
