Guys,
Has anyone got any experience of buying a mic from simplemics.com? I've got my eye on one he's selling on eBay at the moment. It looks good, but I'm a bit cautious about spending $250.00+ without some degree of confidence about the quality.

Adam-
I got a JT 30 with a Shure CM element from simple mics and really enjoy it. The mic was in great shape and came very quickly. I took the mic apart to look at the gasket and element; the gasket looked brand new and the element was exactly as described. I ordered from his website, but I don't think you'll be disappointed in a mic from there. If I were in need of another mic I would consider ordering anther from there if I didn't attempt to build one myself.

They're cheaper on the website, especially if you use the code MBH for 5% off! That said, I've only browsed it but haven't bought one yet.

Thanks for the recommendation Harp Study and great info Indiana. I decided to give the guy a try and bought from the website, used the code and saved myself $35.00 on the eBay price. It pays to be a member of this forum!

Thanks for the endorsements guys. I try to build mics to the best specs I can, and ship right away as well.
