BRILLIANT!

I think you nailed the main subtelties of the tune, and especially, you depart from the frame with a tinge of fancy...that's something I still find difficult.

Edit: you made my day!!!!!!!!!!!!

Really good Snowman, I never found a band to play that with. Nice job...

I was in Pittsburgh at a Rodger Daltry/Clapton concert. Daltry was finished and I was in line at the john discussing the show. One fellow said Daltry's voice was shot, I replied "ya and he played air harmonica too". With that, some big goon said with a sneer "who the F#*k are you, Magic Dick". I just looked at the jerk and pulled an A harp from my shirt pocket and proceeded to play about 8 bars of Wammer Jammer. When I hit the blow bend the goon's eyes bugged out. That big ceramic rest room sounded good! When I finished a cheer and applause went up. I took care of my business and was proceeding back to my seat when someone hollered "hey you", shit, here comes the goon. This big jerk grabed my hand and started shaking it. He was jumping up and down saying "man, who can do that, no one can do that, you made my night" the guy was flippin out. I just stood there and grinned. That was my moment of glory at the Clapton concert...Goose

barley nectar--the hardest part of the song is memorizing all the tags--I finally actually typed out the way the song goes Ie I think there are 9 12 bar go arounds 1st is a chug 2nd is a chug 3rd is sorta bassline 4th warbles with drum and bass etc-- then i figured that when everyone else drops out they all come back on four chord etc i actually have it charted out on a micro soft word etc I too can never get anyone 'band members take the time to work it out---I was reluctant to post it cuz i don't do it perfect--then i stopped and remembered I never do anything perfect--when i do whammer jammer and wing it more and not try to do PERFECT FOR THE RECORDING -i do alot better--its hard trying to play for a recorder-- audiences are much more forgiving--plus you get all pumped up playing live--and theres a lot of extraneous noise to hide minor flaws--not so with recording--anyway loved yr story==still workin on my back track --my newer version is better than the i posted previously--anyway its a harmonica classic--glad i can play it in the 80% range--probably 90% when i wing it thanks again--hawkye yr picture is a classic and you on stage is very entertaining -u look like a charactor--I'll take acharector over primadona any day-nice website too thanks
