My amp saga goes on. I am looking for a very clean sound in an amplifier. No distortion, overdrive, etc. Just the purest harp sound I can get. This will be used for practice and small jams.

You guys have led me to looking into keyboard/pa amps - I do want some type of combo unit. While researching those I came across some amps for acoustic guitars. The sound reproduction was excellent. The Fishman Loudbox was one amp the caught my eye or ear (the guitar song on the demo was awesome too).

Does anyone have experience with acoustic guitar amps used with a harp? Just wondering what the pros & cons might be.

acoustic amps are usually very similar to keyboard amps. They tend to be a bit more expensive than a keyboard amp but they often have more bells and whistles. They are more than capable of good clean harmonica tone.

In general acoustic guitar amps often have a second channel to use an xlr connection for a mike. The guitar channel usually has a notch filter for feedback control and reverb. They often have a tweeter as well as the main speaker.
I have an epiphone regent that I use for busking that sounds great for guitar and vocals but not that great for harp-probably the tweeter is what makes it sound shrill

If those features dont appeal to you - I would suggest a fender Solid State Princeton or Yale-they both have a great clean sound sweet accutronics reverb and can be found for about $150 used
