Eddie C. Campbell is a marvelous bluesman and this is a great album. First time I ever stepped on a stage was at an invite by Eddie C to come on up and play. We played "Blues With A Feeling". It was and will remain one of the highlights of my life. Saw him at Buddy Guy's eating lunch twenty years later and he remembered. Lurrie Bell was playing an acoustic set with Matthew Skoller. He told me that he was Lurrie's Godfather. He's still recuperating from a stroke. ---------- Ricky B http://www.bushdogblues.blogspot.com RIVER BOTTOM BLUES--crime novel for blues fans available at Amazon/B&N and my blog THE DEVIL'S BLUES--ditto
