I have a Fender Superchamp XD that I replaced the stock speaker with a 10'' Rajun Cajun. What's the best way to speed up the break in process? Maybe play CD's thru it at high as possible volume ? (that would be on 3 or 4 before feedback) Is there a prior post on this subject ? Just wanna get the best sound possible out of it.

I wait until we are all going to be out of the house for the day and just leave a CD playing reasonably loud on repeat 'til the first person gets home. Something a bit heavy on the bass gives the speakers a good workout

Just play it. It will loosen up a bit over time, but it is subtle. I can hear new speakers in my amps change after just an hour or so of playing.
New speakers sometimes have a slight brightness in the upper register. The edge comes off a little bit after it is played. Don't expect any dramatic improvement. And don't bother with gimmicky break-in schemes.

Rick just playing a CD through an amp for a day is hardly 'gimmicky' It just speeds the breaking in process up a tad.

I agree with Rick. People get ridiculously anal over stuff like this. Just play the amp and let the speaker break in naturally over time.

+1 on Rick on Eminnence speakers. Webers need longer time.
