I'm going to be taking a trip across US (I'm from UK) for 3-4 weeks commencing Jan 13th - Chicago, Memphis, New Orleans, across Texas and up into Cali.

Bit of a musical pilgrimage, so if any forum members want to recommend anything - places to visit, good clubs, cheap places to stay, festivals, anything really - please shoot me an email on

paddy_wells at hotmail dot com

Thanks.

Jason - I'm flying into Chicago and then heading south, so will certainly let you know if I can come through Indiana.

Greg - would love to make it to northern California, funds and time permitting. Will be in touch if so.

Thanks guys!

Jason, Chinaski, maybe the Indiana Harmonica club could meet at the Noodle in Indy. One of the oldest blues clubs around. Gene Deer is hosting a jam on Weds,

Denver, Colorado. A good blues scene and some great jams. And some really pretty mountains....

If you can swing it,the Int'l Blues Competition is Jan. 22-25 in Memphis. Lots of blues bands from all over the world will be there.

Gnarly, I just typed, 'I Love Anagrams' into an anagram generator. I usually get some funny results, but this is one of the funniest lists I have ever seen!

http://www.wordsmith.org/anagram/anagram.cgi?anagram=I+love+anagrams&t=1000&a=n

Some of the highlights (including a couple that would make some good band names, or at least a good name for liquor.):

A Legman Savior
A Gravemans Oil

even
'A venial orgasm' is pretty cool.

But there are some that I won't repeat here, but here is the link for anyone who enjoys dirty anagrams. Morsel? lol.
