I was having some fun with a PA/Interface I have at home and tried to record something. I took a C harmonica (Hohner 150th Anniversary) and a Shure SM57. First I recorded the rhythm harp and lowered it one octave lower, so it can sound like a low harp. Then I recorded the beatbox tracks (damn, it's hard to breath while you beatbox), and after that I recorded the lead harmonica. Each of the tracks had to be recorded several times to make it decent. Of course I don't think it's perfect, it can be improved 100 or 1000 times, but that's how I'm playing now, and I have my own limitations. Which is good, because it means there's something to work in :D
By the way, the software I used was Audacity.
I hope you like it. All comments are welcome.

Martinc, I thought it sounded pretty good. The pitch shift on the harmonica sounds believable, I would have never known it wasn't a low harp if you didn't say so.
You've actually inspired me to start playing around with Audacity again.

I love playing with pitch shifting. I've thought about getting a live pedal for it. You get the fast response of a higher harp and still get that great low sound.
Nice job. :)
