Hi,
Now that I have two amps (one for the house, one for the streets) I can play whit both of them at the same time. Yes, just like Adam does.
Mic: Universal 312 w/ Shure CM 99B86 Amp 1: Fender Champ SF Amp 2: Crate V5 Behringer EQ700 Harmonica: MB in A
First the Champ by it self, then whit the Crate V5, then me triying to jam along whit a BT.
The camera does not pick the diference in volume and sound, but whit 2 amps the sound is huge (at least in my living room) and the bass is much better too. When you put two amps together, the difference Is not just more volume, the sound is more prescence, more complex, it fills the room way better.
The thing is that I dont know how to take this setup to the streets whitout a car!

Somehow I doubt you play them like Adam does...but yeah, fun to play 2 or 3 together. I have a Kendrick ABC box that lets me click any of 3 on and off. Great for comparison too.

rbeetsme,
You are right, the champ is giving me the tone whit his VC at 6/10, the crate is running clean, 3/10, because it distort in a bad way, it just add more bass to the general sound. I guess that whit two good amps turn up the sound would be awesome!
Edit: Sorry for the late response.

I'v been running two small amps at a jam now, several times. Drive them with an Arion SAD-1, stereo delay. Not really louder but the tone and complexity are breathtaking. No drums aloud at this jam so you really get to feel the vib!...BN

Barley Nectar,
What are the speaker in those amps?
In my video, one amp is a 1x8 and the other is 1x10, and that mix is very good because you get all the heavy mids froms the 8" and all the bass from the 10".
I guess that part of the sound you get by mixing amps is by mixing the speaker in those amps.
I cant wait to get my hands on another good amp whit a 10" speaker and run it whit the champ, I bet that the tone would be a dream.

I'm running my home built Honker. 2xEL84 with SFSI finals. No phase inverter used, yet it is push pull. That amp has a vintage Jensen C10P at 17 watts. The second amp is a rare Newcomb 6V6 SE w/ a ceramic 6x9. Big, warm amd phat sound with that combination. I have used other amps. Zoo and Newcomb. Bronco and Champ. '58 Sano HiFi, 30W, 1x15" Utah and Bronco. The Bronco has a Weber 8F125. LOUD!
I also have a couple of stereo amps. '52 RCA Orthophonic (stereo) phonograph converted to harp rig. 2 chnl w/ SE EL84 per chnl. 4.5 watts per side. Runs a Weber Sig 8 ceramic and a Cletron 6x9. Nice.
Built a Stereo Harvard. Two Harvard's on one power supply. PP, fixed bias amps running 2 Jan 6L6WGB's and a Deluxe size OT per chnl. First and second node use 100uF caps! Amp makes 35W per channel. Run into two, 2x10 cabs W/ a Vintage C10P and a Ragin Cajun in each cab. This thing has serious GRUNT.
I run all the above w/ a stereo analog delay. This really makes stereo rigs come to life. That is the only pedal I use. Essential IMO...BN

That's really good. I like your tone and style. You get kind of a natural chorus effect that way. If you dial back the overdrive on one amp it really shows!

Rhartt1234,
How that sound? and, what amp did you mic to the PA?
Barley Nectar,
A stereo delay? that sounds cool. Any chance to hear that?

It sounds good. Not super distorted but a pretty full sound. I do that for a few gigs that are not too big but not too small. I use some combination of the 1482, Silvertone 1432, Pro Junior, Bogen PA head and 1x12 cabinet.
Depending on the set up I put them both right behind me or one on either side of the kick drum.
