I assuredly jest ...MasterPiece being in the ear of the beholder of course, even then - these tunes are purely impure, some poor, others funny, sad, silly, scary, crazy, provoking, well you get the picture :)

These are original Tunes I made while being a part of an inventively creative motley crew of participants over at harmonicaboogie.com from I think 2002 to 2005.

There must of been 30 or 40 players at that time who would choose a Bt put something quickly together to it and upload it hoping to attract votes. It was fast paced environment at the time and and new songs were constantly and quickly being entered.

It was a very interesting way of learning different skills as well as a unique opportunity to interact with some amazing personalities. It could get sticky at times - but differences usually brought out the best in us creative wise.

The CEO of the site harmonicaboogie.com is Rick B. and he is a class act and is underrated as far as his contributions to helping harmonoica players throughout the years. Every harmonica player should participate at his site at least once!

Here are 85 original tunes from my years with the site - When I say original, I am referring strictly to the harmonica playing and vocals, lyrics and creating my personal theme and feel to the Bt's...

All are welcome to comment on the songs and if you're feeling spunky - feel free to pick a top 10 or 20 list of your favorites and most hated...These songs run the gamut and should be at the least entertaining.

The songs are in a primitive state and with a some attention could be polished up and be made halfway respectable...Some of the tunes will always remain insane.

These songs were done in fun so it is best to listen to them in that spirit - They are simply spontaneous fun tunes created while enjoying my time at harmonicaboogiecom.

Again, please feel free to comment, criticize or whatever you darn well please with these tunes :)

I had mine on an external drive that failed a few years ago and thankfully a member here was able to guide me in salvaging the contents before it failed totally or they would of been lost for the eternities. I ghost image everything now for if and when I run in to that dilemma again.

Did you go by Joe L.over at HB.com? My memory ain't the best and there are players I forget until my memory gets jogged...Hope you find your creations Joe - they are a peak into the madness from days gone by :)

For us novices, these are golden nuggets Frank. Thanks for sharing them. I'll try and get through a few each day. Azz Kicker is real meaty.

Thanks for sharing this collection, Frank! I sampled about a dozen so far! Really enjoyed Baby Blue and Azz Kicker, and as for Fancy Pants, I assume that's you on low rhythms and high end: Nice! The vocals are not shabby either! Are you performing live anywhere?

Great singing, playing and sense of fun, Frank! Constipation Blues. Was that an homage to Screaming Jay Hawkins?

Thank you Chris...azzkicker goes down like a double shot of cheap gut rut whiskey, crude and nasty - what was I thinking :)

Correct on the different harp parts and such, on any song were you hear anything other then the rhythm section instruments, the rest of the madness was added by me , the layering of harps, vocals etc - lyrics are mine too, sorry to say :)

ex: if you listen to "Nadine Honey" that's me doing the doo wop bampa bumba bumba stuff at the beginning... Or on "Cousin Ziggy" the Train horns and such were my contribution to the naked Bt :)

I played for one of my clients and a coworker yesterday if that counts as live... and my wife has to listen involuntarily and occasionally she'll even grace me with her presence and let me serenade her with my harp...Plus - we can't forget the infamous "Centipede Saloon" were all sorts of shady characters come out of the woodwork (centipedes, spiders, crickets, pill bugs) to throw down a wang dang doodle of a good time :)

Steamroller...I like your stuff too - you tell it like is :)

Thanks BWailer - definitely Screaming Jay has influenced me :)

Frank: re. Your other audience...ROFLMAO! But strangely affirming. In the same way that seeing harp played in cars at lonely crossroads is strangely affirming...

Exactly - Someone is always listening even when you think your alone and one can feel completely lonely while playing for a bunch of people who could careless - what affirms the strangeness of it all is the harmonica itself, it has no preference :)

Jinx - you know who I'm talking about - those shit faced drunk alcoholics, funkity, funk , funk :)

Stan - not sure who Angelo is but he didn't make that BT - that's "17th Street Blues" who made that cool Back Track for my tune "shit creek" :)

I'm with Jinx! I'd buy the ticket to your show!
The combination of solid vocals and harp skills shines through the "un-polished state" along with the witty and powerful story telling in your lyrics...
I'm letting these clips run in the background while I work and I've got to say: You, sir, are an entertainer!

New Favorite: Expired Tag Blues. It's like you had Carey Bell and Sonny Boy II trading licks.
