Interesting. This guy played rather fast and confident licks early on (and is sometimes edited out on the "Stormy monday" live cut). He appears to have vanished completely afterwards?

I may be wrong but I think he is a yoga instructor in Bradenton,FL. At least thats what I heard quite awhile back.

Yep-he is here in Florida-he still plays out once in a while.He is a premier yoga instructor.

I believe that he and Duane Allman were very good friends and the band actually broke up after Duane's death. When Greg Allman started getting them back together Thom said he wasn't interested. That's what An Allman Bros. fan told me. I don't know if it's true or not, but I do know that Thom and Duane were very good friends.

Thom was not actually a member....he just played with them on live shows.....he may have been in the studio with them but I see no evidence of it

the harp solo was edited out of Stormy Monday the original release of the Fillmore East album (and thus, cd). they later re-released it as The Fillmore Concerts (2 cd's) and added it back.
