2006 digitally remastered two CD set compiling albums 'Grease One For Me' and 'No Time To Jive', both recorded for the Blue Horizon label in 1970 by harmonica player George Smith and the Blues band Bacon Fat, (featuring Rod Piazza). Each disc has been expanded to include several previously unavailable live performances by the band which were recorded during a UK tour in 1970. 36 tracks total. Blue Horizon.

I have both of these on vinyl and it looks like there are extra stuff from both sessions previously unreleased and neither of these were ever issued on CD to the best of my knowledge.

What surprised and disappointed me with these tracks when I listened to them -- it´s been a while so please correct me if I´m wrong -- was that nowhere did they double on harps.
One would have thought that they could have tried out things in unison, harmony or whatever, but made use of the fact the they had a small wind section in the band.

I don´t know why bit I think we hear to little of horn riffing by harmonica players.
