Hi all! Here's a long time coming project from me, Tommy and a friend of mine. We (read I) decided to add guitars to our thing.
Well, getting a guitarman to follow through was a hassle. So after a long wait (Me and Tommy finished our parts in february) and a few dead ends, I finally asked an old friend of mine to help us out.
We now, finally, can present to you: Trouble no more, The allman brothers' version played and sung by: Tommy the Hat, Pistolkatt and GitBoy.
Tommy sing through a shure SM58. I play a Fatharp/Harmonica Slim II marineband custom in D, second position through a SM57 connected through an peveay ampkitlink to my iphone. I use the app 'ampkit', quite a few digital effect pedals, octaver, haze/fuzz, eq and more. GitBoy plays on a xbox Guitarhero 3 guitar ;) Mixed in audacity. Video editing in AVS4U videoeditor 6.1
Feedback and comments welcome! Enjoy!

Mostly good. Great arrangement, good solo, etc.
Watch out for that line you double with the guitar. Frequently, the second half off that unison line has you playing close to a maj 3rd over the correct note that the guitar player uses...minor 3rd. ---------- The Iceman

@orphan- thanks mate! @Iceman - Yes, I agree. Poor intonation. It's an ever recurring topic, isn't it? I have started working with a keyboard I think I'm making progress. But bad habits die hard. ---------- Pistolkatt - Pistolkatts youtube

No-one else? Anyone liked the video? Disliked it? our guitarrist was kind of lazy/shy/low on camcorders so he just sent me a audio. I tried to do a funny piece with it... I thought, if I faked it on a real guitar it would have been even lamer...
I had my harp parts finished before Kudzuruner posted his one way out video, Allman brothers style. And I found a similarity in the sound I was gunning for with Adam's setup. Compressed and heavy octaved to take the place of and electric slided guitar.
Anyone else covering Allman brothers' stuff? ---------- Pistolkatt - Pistolkatts youtube

Thanks! I like Muddy's version better, actually. But I think Tommy is partial to the Allman bros. My favourite is a live version with Portnoy on harp. Here's a spotify link http://open.spotify.com/track/58GyPZIhvsf1vu8IOsKGVm
Thanks for listening. ---------- Pistolkatt - Pistolkatts youtube
