Hakan Ehn frequently posts examples of his playing here. I think he consistently sounds great. I can't tell if he's mostly a tongue blocker or not but whatever techniques he's using they work well to my ears. A YT search turns up a large body of work. I can't find much organization to the videos so was wondering if anyone has grouped them by difficulty or perhaps by some other classification such as technique lessons vs songs?
PS: Thanks Hakan should you read this!

Hakan has well over 400 vids on utube. You are right, a real mix of lessons, songs, cars, etc. I have a 'Hakan Ehn' section in the MBH webbrain under 'Great Videos' with links to MBH discussions but with only 10 or so vids listed. He really deserves his own.
Would be hard to group by difficulty. Harp key and style maybe.

Thanks bluemoose. Took a quick look at Webbrain as I wasn't familiar with it. Maybe one day we can convince Hakan to index and/or organize his tremendous body of work.

A recent video was recorded in a bierhaus. Typically really old Eurpoean building and the room looks like a dungeon. Probably a great place to drink beer and listen to the blues.

Hi SmokeJS,

Thanks for posting! I'm a lip purser. I use also tounge blocking octaves when I play for example the main riff in "Automatic". I have done a little organizing on my youtube site www.youtube.com/HakanEhn where I have a simple structure of different areas like most popular, rock, lessons, performing live.

Shaun at World of Harmonica (WOH) also did a great job and he created on page for me and there also some videos. According to his selection, we seem to share the same love for good old boogie.

A bit of fun. On my WOH page there is a anonymous comment in swedish that says: "your neighbors absolutely love to constantly listen to the noise you call music - NOT!". OK I don't play through my amp in my apartment anymore.

The recent video from the bierhaus is from Old Town, the heart of Stockholm and the oldest area with many old buildings. There are three different pubs with blues jams in that relatively small area and this place is one of them (but this was not a blues jam).

I met him and i can tell you he is a great guy. We use to speak and drool over some mic or other harp gear now and then.
