I just saw Tad play here in Lafayette at the Uptown Jazz and Blues Festival and I was blown away by how great he was. I didn't really realize just how many talented harp players live in Indiana, and I'm surprised that so many do.

I don't know if he still lives there or not, but I seem to recall that there a young guy who's none too shabby on the harmonica that lives in Indiana. Goes by the name of Jason Ricci. Now that kid can play!

Tad gets around. Notably for me he did some stuff with Dave Specter some years ago that ended up on a work tape in a former band. He inspired me greatly to lean a bit more into swing blues/jazz, with his take on Kidney Stew and It's too late especially.
I may be mistaken but I think he's lived in NYC for some time now.
