OK, I've been working on first position.... at long last and I came accross this great Little Feat tune. Great for working on first position in A... IMHO.
First always seems like a funny position to me but for some reason this tune fits it like a glove. I must be missing something here, and I'm betting one of you folks can tell me what it is. :o)

I love that song. One of the great all time bars is the Dixie Chicken in College Station, Texas just off the A&M campus. Giggem' Ags..I always assumed it was named after the song.
You are right on track putting a harp to this tune. Garth Brooks covered this under his alter ego Chris Gaines. The intro lick was played on harp, although I don't know by whom.
