This is a late post..... but
Danny G holds a harmonica party the first weekend after the 4th of July in North Benton, Ohio. This year it's July 5,6,7. Saturday morning, I'm picking up Dave Payne and we're heading to Danny G's. It's a free event. A lot of chromatic players. It's free and fun. If you are in the are, come join us.

Party Time starts Friday July 5th and end on Sunday when the last guests tail lights fade into the distance.
So far we have guests coming from Wisconsin, Indiana and Florida and West "By God" Virginia and a maybe from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
It's a whole lot more like a big family reunion rather than a harmonica convention. There are no scheduled acts, it's all open mic and it's not just harmonicas. We've had fiddlers, singers, a couple of women who played flutes, stand up bass, keyboardists, lots of guitars and even a couple didgeridoos. There are several hotels/motels in nearby Alliance, Ohio or you can bring a camper, tent or sleep in your car. We supply coffee, tea, and water. Bring your own beverages and a personal cooler. We make several unscheduled ice, soda and beer runs. We have a big smoker and usually smoke several turkeys, hams, and pork tenderloins over the weekend as well as several grills with hot dogs, hamburgers and an occasional chicken. Most of the local folks bring covered dishes.
