I've tried to make lists before, and I'll try to incorporate any old info that is still relevant, but I think it's time to find out who out there in the harp world is making and or selling harp products and music. Let's make this a big thread.

If you want to be on the list, list the following-

Your Name (and handle)
What you sell/make
Your site or contact info
Category- harps/mics/amps/accessories/music/venue/other

(feel free to list other resources)

I'm going to try to do this as a spread sheet so it will all fit in one place.

Great idea, Nate! I hope all our purveyors--of custom harps, stomp boxes, mics, everything--will weigh in, and quickly. Heck, I wish we could make this a sticky thread.

"Heck, I wish we could make this a sticky thread."

You can. All it takes is a complete rework of the Forum.

I'll put it in the thread organizer... also, if we get a good spread sheet put together, or other neat formatting technique, we could put a link on the How To Page.

Hi kids!
Gary Lehmann
AKA Gnarly Heman (do the math)
I am the Suzuki US harp tech, and they just made me full time.
I also play music full time, so I will not be giving them 40 hours a week until the end of summer--I am playing 6 nights a week at the San Diego Zoo.
So I do repair of diatonic and chromatic harmonicas, and specialize in retuning--but again, won't have much time until Fall 2013.
Hey, I am bragging and complaining at the same time.
So my message is, buy Suzuki and take advantage of their one year warranty.

It's nice and a great idea to get all you guys onto one thread.
Me? I gig and I sell my latest cd, that's it. Hoping to get another cd or two together in the next year, one with Jolene and one with Bluesboy Jag and the Juke Joint Zombies.

I expect though that before long I will be looking to get shut of some wounded harps and get some rehabbed.

I do know Greg Heumann does excellent mic work as he modded one for me.

Mark's Harmonica Tune-up

Hohner diatonic repairs. i've raised my price from $10 to $15.

i don't offer custom harps but i'll repair them. i've repaired Buddhas, Deak Harps, Sleighs,Filiskos, Gordons,Dude Harps, Genesis,Rupert Oyslers. Spiers doesn't count cuz the guy dropped the harp and two reeds got knocked out of alignment.

Note- please send custom harps back to original builders if possible. at least four of the guys i mentioned above weren't available or backed up.

This will be much more informative if you tell us the various countries you´re in. We are not all Americans or living in North America.

The notion that I, living in Gothenburg, Sweden, should send a harmonica to the US for, say, replacement of a reed requires a type of financial masochism that some, though not all, forum members may be suffering from -- certainly not I.

Martin. I also edited my post. I live in the the U.S. but have customers in more than 40 countries around the world. Shipping costs have recently risen sharply but by using International First Class Mail I can still ship most packages for $10 - $12.00 US. Not too bad.

Hello, Dirty Southers!

My name is Michelle LeFree, writing from the delightful little city of Montrose in Western Colorado, USA.

I've made a few recent mumblings on MBH about some handmade harmonica-centric leather products. This thread is the ideal opportunity for me to celebrate the debut of my new company, SilverWing Leather by announcing my new web site. Please take a look if you might be interested in my ever-expanding range of products, including cases for single- and multiple-diatonics as well as chromatic cases and harmonica tool rolls. Of course, I am also always keen to work with private clients to create something unique, just for them

To honor this auspicious occasion, in the coming week, I'll be giving a 10% discount on all orders received along with the mention of the secret MBH code phrase, "Thunky Fing."

Thanks for lookin'!

Michelle
