My 11-year old son Matthew was asking me "who sings that song that goes like..." and he starts humming the intro to "Anti-Blues Pill".

It's a song by MBH forum member Ryan Hartt and his Blue Hearts.

The disc in my steady rotation group of albums in my car, so he's heard some of the tunes from the album a few times as we go to Jazz band practice (he plays piano, and kicks ass as it). So I told him who it was.

He went and bought the song on his own! I figure that's doing pretty good, if an 11-year old will fork over his hard-earned 99 cents for your song. He used his own money and looked Ryan up on iTunes by himself.

He's a good kid and has good taste in music. So glad he's not into Justin Bieber and One Direction. So there is hope for the younger generation! :)

Good one Cliffy.
My young feller doesn't think much of a lot of popular music; but then he's been well schooled in the classics like Led Zeppelin, The Who, Black Sabbath, AC/DC and the like. As his taste matures I can easily see him getting into some good blues, but he's too young to feel the blues yet.
(heard him humming a good box groove the other day, so he's not far off!)
