i think its OK. many disagree. Hobostubs has one, i think he gets on OK with it, but i wont presume to speak on his behalf i think its a versatile amp, and if you take the time to find the right settings its quite harp friendly. its quite bright, really its a treble 0, bass 10 kind of tone setting. i think voice 4, with the gain relatively low is as good or better than the "clean" channel. its the same preamp voice, and its more flexible i think, than the clean channel. i dont know if its a good price in the states though. it would be here in AUS, but i see the new price here is about double the US price, so you may be able to do better. there are better sounding amps in that price range, but probably not as loud. and 'better sounding' is somewhat subjective. if you also play guitar, its probably even better value. i must be clear..i dont have this amp, im only spouting what ive heard. i have the little brother, VibroChamp XD, which has many of the same features especially regarding amp models and on board effects. as a practice amp and quiet jam amp, i'm really happy with it. its very practical and i like the sound. and handy to lend to visiting guitarists who just wantt to hang out and jam a little.
