In tandem with a current thread from a new jammer I've got a question about the Jimi Lee backing tracks. I'm in Toronto and they won't ship the CD's to Canada. Can only buy the downloads. Question is will the downloads go into iTunes for burning into blank CD's? Or does anyone have CD's for sale?

Um, shouldn't these tracks be bought directly from Jimi or an authorized retailer? He put the work into them.

Scott Albert, I'm selling the original CD, not a copy. I bought the newer version and I don't need them both.

Those Jimi Lee backing tracks are superb.
The Lawrence Fritts backing track are free and easily found online, They are very good. The best blues backing tracks for classic Chess style blues I've heard so far are the Shoblues ones. They can be found at the www.shoeblues.com website. Also Dennis Gruenling does some cool backing tracks on his www.badassharmonica.com website too.

JL has produced a useful set with those tracks. Lots of stuff in E, and A. Nice variation of rhythms and tempo. Depending on how you want to practice, can usually find something to work with. I downloaded, made myself a disc, I can take to my shed, or use the tracks on iPod gadget.

The download also provides the useful PDF with all the information behind each track.

I'm in Ontario, too but given the choice I'd still go for the download version. Much more versatile to have the document on my phone or computer.
