Hey, I am certain I would learn lots from the movie, if it ever surfaces.
I am not much of a blues man, my blues influences were second hand.
I am glad Walter made an impression on all y'all, I just wish he hadn't demonstrated his might on the 5 draw so front and center on Juke, his actions led to the death of many a reed.
I don't really have a harp hero! The closest I come is John Sebastian (and I told him so)--I knew the Lovin' Spoonful's music pretty well, so when I started playing seriously, that sound was in my head.
Hey, how about a John Sebastian movie? Surely that one would not be so difficult to bring to market!

Who's John Sebastian?

I can understand why you don't have a harp hero if your not a blues man.

I can't understand why your not a blues man however. Lol.

I have many harp hero's. How can you not?

John Sebastian is a good player all joking aside

And his father was an orchestra harmonica player who knew that existed ?

He has no harp heros because they didnt play Suzis back in the day ( tongue firmly in cheek)

They hadnt yet melted down the old Nambus and Arisakas ( more humor) to make them

Harmonica is just an instrument--I don't really play like most harmonica players.
No big deal, I don't have a gig playing harp--
It's possible that Bill Barrett is my harmonica hero, since he is so good--but I came upon him late in the game, when I play, I am just trying to make music, not copy anyone (AFAIK).

Nice Lovin' Spoonful cut, Brick. I knew Sebastian was on harp for The Doors' Roadhouse Blues, but I had never heard that Night Owl Blues track before just now. Makes me appreciate Sebastian all the more. Sometimes I just love this forum.

For those who haven't checked this out, they switch from a slow blues (12/8) to an medium tempo shuffle without blinking an eye, then back after two bars.
Sophisticated--rivaling the second chorus of Juke (see how I did that?)

Hah nice on the full circle Gnarly.

And nice on the John Sebastian. That time change was awesome. This guy is something else. Man there are just so many excellent musicians out there. I literally discover great new ones everyday. (Well discover for myself, Anyhow.)
