Satan and Adam are looking for one routing date to help get us back home after our mid-August tour. We need a date on Sunday, August 16th in a southward direction from New York City, roughly 250-500 miles from NYC. In practical terms, this means: DC south to Virginia Beach / Portsmouth. The state of Virginia, basically.
Do you own a club, or have a friend who owns a club, or are you in a blues society, that can help us land a gig? We'll work with you. Please email Adam: asgussow@aol.com
We're also quite open to the idea of playing a private party. We're probably more affordable than you think.

Adam- maybe check out these folks? The Nighthawks play here a few times each summer, as does Bob Margolin, Eric Lindell etc. It's an outdoor venue- we go most every week-end- If I can help let me know-

I didn't even realize the Jewish Mother was still open! We played there a handful of times in the mid90s. I've just emailed them. Do you know anybody there? Or is there a local blues society that could help make this happen. That's exactly the gig I want.

To anybody who reads this thread: I need a favor.
I've had a very positive response from Jason Bruner, who books talent into the Jewish Mother blues room in Virginia Beach. We've almost struck a deal. But I want to convince him that if Satan and Adam play Virginia Beach on Wednesday, August 12th, people WILL turn out.
If you live within striking distance of the club and you think it's pretty likely you'd attend a Satan and Adam show there (with friends, ideally; but without is also great), please drop Jason a friendly email. Let him know that I mentioned the gig on my website's forum and you just wanted to let him know that you're really looking forward to the show and hope he'll book us. (He's also looking to book us into a Richmond VA room on Sunday, August 16th).
If you can do that, I would really appreciate it. Make sure you let him know where you're from. Represent! And help your friendly local touring blues trio make ends meet.
