just got my harps in today. they look fantastic an play fantastic. nice an air tight. the bends just come so smoothly. its like you just think of what you want to play an the harp does the rest. its like if you took the playability of a sp20 mixed it with the sound of a MB an cranked up the volume an added some spunk to it then dressed it up for a night out on the town, thats what you get.

also now that i know what its like to play a custom harp i dont think ill ever buy another stock harp unless its to work on it myself. oh an i still think comb material makes a differnce in tone.

If I can ask, how much was the brass comb, and how much to engrave your name on the back?

i dont remember exactly how much it was. but it was a little expensive cause i got allot of options. the hour glass, the name, the key on the side. if you go to www.blowyourbrassoff.com you can add it up. all the options an prices are there.

Chris, you do great work. I do woodworking, and was wondering what tools I would need to work brass to make my own combs. Also, where do you get your brass, and do you match the old comb's thickness.

Wow Chris! Stunning. Beautiful work. I read at another forum that your not doing diatonics anymore.
Tell me this isnt true. I hope you reconsider.
Your harps are too nice to not continue with.

I wish we had a @ system in the software for notifications. There are times when a specific person really should see a thread and short of going and posting on their facebook page or just hoping they happen to see it there is no way to make sure they do.

I wonder what Jon Sparrow is up to these days. He was such a regular poster. I seem to recall his disappearance may have had something to do with World of Warcraft. It takes so many from his generation... :)

(Me, it's Minecraft.)
