This is photo of my own harps (not all, about half of my complete set). I really liked the fact that all Seydel parts (except session style combs/reedplates) are interchangeble.

So there are 6 type of seydel combs 1) wood classic/soloist pro comb (fits 1847, favorite, soloist pro reedplates) 2) white plastic silver comb (fits 1847, favorite, soloist pro reedplates) 3) session black comb (fits only session brass/steel reedplates) 4) session orange comb (fits only session brass/steel reedplates) 5) metall favorite comb (i don't like metall combs) 6) black noble metall comb 7) I have great custom combs from Slava http://vinharps.com/ (incredible! I wish more of them)
There are seven coverplates 1) Soloist pro 2) 1847 classic 3) 1847 noble 4) session 5) favourite (same shape and feel as session, only different text) 6) session steel (same shape and feel as session, only different text) 7) sesion antique
So it gives up to 7*7=49 combination. So even excluding the combination I personally dislike (metall combs, session/favourite coverplates on session combs or on any high keys, noble covers on 1847 in high key) I can make almost every of my harmonicas (including spares) unique and I actually don't need to mark them I just remember that custom comb + 1847 classic coverplates is my Bb, while orange comb + noble coverplates is my spare C, Silver comb with soloist pro coverplate is my Db.
Still wish to get more Soloist Pro coverplates, I like them on high harps and more antique session coverplates. ---------- Excuse my bad English. Click on my photo or my username for my music.

BTW, for more diversity. In almost every key I have two harps (anyway still wish spare Ab, B, E, Eb, LEb, LDb). First I thought about simple main and spare. Now I decide that better to make them slightly different. Now on some keys (C, A, LF, D, LC) one harp is tuned to 442Hz base tuning and with wider gaps, less controllable overblows, but less risk of unwanted choke (Session Steel reedplates/combs are ok for this goal as well as 1847). I usually use this harp for loud blues/rock/funk/punk tunes. Another harp in the same key is tuned 441Hz base tuning and with narrower gaps for more controllable overblows (prefer to use onle 1847 for this setup, not session steel). I usually use this harp for quiet bossa-nova/jazz/ballad tunes. Not make this for all keys yet, but I like this way! Anyway I can play anything on both harps and use them as spares to each other. E.g. in C I have Silver with unvented matt coverplates, 441Hz, low gaps, I use it for tunes like Girl From Ipanema, other one is Session Steel with noble combs which I use for Rock Around The Clock. I like it this way. ---------- Excuse my bad English. Click on my photo or my username for my music.

I see that all your covers are fixed with only one screw on each side. Can I ask you which % of your OOTB harps needed fine tweakings or adjustments? Are there multiple choices offered for harps in your country (here in Belgium, you would probably weep).

laurent2015 Yes, this is stock seydel solution, no problem, they are very airtight.
For my style of playing any OOTB harp need bunch of adjustment.
In Russia choice is not a great, but using internet and online stores you may order almost everything. I order Seydel directly from them (http://1847.com) and as endorser get some for free (not all I have). ---------- Excuse my bad English. Click on my photo or my username for my music.

Middle of Russia, ya say? That’s not an insurmountable difficulty. Just load up my Kawasaki and ride to Alaska. I’ve been looking for an excuse to do that anyway. Island hop across the Bering Sea to Petropavlovsk (Sarah Palin’s back yard) and ride on over to the middle or Russia. 10 or 12 weeks max, but I’ll probably only be able to stay a couple of days. You would probably get tired of me drinking up all of your beer anyway.
Mapping out the trip brought back memories of hunting Petropavlovsk submarines from Adak in the 80’s. I was a radio operator on a P-3. If you were born yet and had an HF receiver you may have heard me in the 6000khz band. My shows were usually pretty short because my employer would not have been as amused as I was, but I was doing my little part for perestroika. It must have worked because we have 2 way communications over the internet today and I can listen to your harp playing. Good stuff, too.

Thievin' Heathen You're welcome ((: But I have idea to move to Moskow for a long period. What certainly your submarines did for Perestroyka? ---------- Excuse my bad English. Click on my photo or my username for my music.

Boris,
I was joking about flying close to your country playing blues harmonica from the HF radio in the airplane. That was my small contribution for Perestroyka.
It was my Navy watching your Navy. A game of cat & mouse and sometimes your MiGs would come out to meet us, certainly making us the mouse. Although they could have easily shot us down in flames I never thought of the men flying them as enemies. They just looked like pilots trying to fly a mission and get back home. The exact same thing we were doing. Maybe they just came out to see who was playing that harmonica.
I hope your move to Moscow opens opportunities for more harmonica playing.

I have several back-up A's and C's not in my main case right now, but otherwise don't carry a lot of spares. I have a C Sleigh and a C Spiers along with a prototype A MB that is stellar. Otherwise, I just get MB's when I need back ups and play them stock or gapped and just fix stuff as it breaks.
All my harps are flat sanded, gapped, tuned, and set up for overbends. They are, for the most part, NOT embossed, etc. For my style, it isn't necessary, I guess. If I get squealing on an OD, I might rework the gaps and zero point.

Miles Dewar I thought it was about Coleoptera systematics, not diversity. Talkin' about diversity I'd prefer to estimate at least Shannon index. (((: ---------- Excuse my bad English. Click on my photo or my username for my music.

I told my wife I liked diversity and she slapped me in the face.
