I got to sit in with a friend's band last week. the first song they called was ZZ Top's "Just Got Paid", which I've heard a lot but hadn't played. After a bit of cribbing to figure out the signature riff, off we went, and it was a blast. I've sat in with these guys before, but for some reason it we just never clicked, and I was always disappointed with the results. This one, I'm pretty happy with.
The amp sound isn't ideal, as I forgot I had the bypass switch on, so no delay or chorus. But it's not bad.
It's a fun song to play, and the crowd really dug it.
