I was always impressed by the harp in this song - the harp player is listed as "Bun-E Slopes". Anyone know his identity? One of the guys in Dread Zeppelin? Been listening to it for years, and always wondered.

From the Dread Zeppelin blog-

"Bun E Slopes is our blues harpist supreme. Any harmonica heard on a Dread Zep album is blown by Bun E. (real name: Rick Germond). As all you Led Zep-heads know, “Levee…” is a harmonica showcase and Bun E. Slopes burns. Bravura performance. Bun E. is also heard on “The Train Kept A-Rollin.”

that is what i am hearing hear
having said that
this cat is a tone monster!

his timing and phrasing are impeccable.
he is as good as anyone i have ever heard.

if i am not mistaken
he is the same fellow that i saw
sitting in with max bangwell
not to long ago
at the local blues jam

you have to love this
an elvis impersonator
singing reggae versions
of led zeppelin

Tone is cool. Even cooler are the individual linear ideas - good combo of "same ol' same ol" mixed in with original twists - kept my interest throughout.
