Apologies guys i feel that i might be being a bit of a PITA on this Deville. RE my other thread:followed the great advice and systematicaly worked through the Harp v/c and amp volume til i got the best volume w/o feed back.(I also took my 12 AY out of the V1 and putit into the V3) I'm using the normal imput no treble or mid, bass on 5-6 volume on around 2-3
Great i'm getting close to what i want. Now time to experiment with a pedal or two. Ok pedal into the effects loop, weak signal, i mean i can get the volume up to six and its still only just audible! Ok now i plug the mike into the pedal and into the 1 imput on the Amp,same thing. Checked the pedal into my VHT works fine. Its like its an impedance issue but at 1m imput on the amp the L/W should be happy? Anyone any ideas. I'm starting to feel like the kid at Xmas, rips into the packaging grabs the shiny toy...but there's no batteries in the house ;-0

OK this is weird. When l came to my 'putor to write the above i left the pedals plugged in and on and just switched the amp to standby. I go back to the amp room turn the amp froom standby to on....and everything is working! The Boss ge 7 in the effects loop and the L/W octave running into the no1 imput.Awesome! So what happened? Is it something to do with plugging the pedals in only while it is on standby or something?

Answered my own question here. I bought a six pack of short pedal leads, turns out the L/W pedals don't like 'em.They just don't sit nice and tight in the imput jacks.Slightest movement and they just cut out. Whew.At 14$a pack...well probably serves me right.

Glad to hear you are having some success with the amp. It would be cool if you could put up a video or sound clip. I'd like to hear it.
