That's one of the risks in the new age of marketing. It used to be putting something very related to your product in your product name helped people find you. In the age of Google it can make it tough to find you in a bunch of search lists. We've been having some problems with my 'thread threads' but they are up, for the moment with lists of useful links by category. If people have useful links I'll add them to the thread (and back it up, some longer older posts are being marked by the host as spam, and we're not sure how that's going to be resolved, but I'll back up the list and find another way to have it online if we have to).

Hey harponica - don't know where you live but just in case you weren't aware of it, BlowsMeAway Productions makes a "made in USA" in-line volume control as well - from a guy who supports this board, and makes volume controls to match your element - 1M ohm is OK for crystal elements but for most dynamic mics, it will compress the useful range of the control into the 1st 1/4 turn.
Just sayin. ---------- /Greg

Greg gets great reviews too. (My shopping list, when I get money goes comb from Tom, comb from Randy S., comb from BlueX, and then maybe I'll be able to get around to a mic from Greg.

Been using my "BlowsMeAway" in-line volume control for what 5-6 years now? (or more?) No issues, solid, dependable. Elegant uniform diameter design. Looks great, like it's part of the mic. Volume knob is easy to find and adjust while playing. I highly recommend this product. ----------
